Improvements will only help you to perfect your already great guitar playing skills. Noone in their right mind would turn down an opportunity to learn new techniques and different types of playing, different styles of music, it will only make you a better guitar player.</p>

<p>Learning to play the guitar took you some time, no doubt about that. It took plenty of determination on your part and quite a bit of dedication as well. You would have to constantly push yourself to learn more about the art of playing guitar properly. Pay attention to the way you are holding your guitar, the techniques you are using, watch and listen closely to any specific things that you may think need to be improved.</p>
<p>It is up to you to have the ability to hear and understand the sounds that you are hoping to improve. You have to have the drive to want to make some changes where necessary, change is not always an easy adjustment. If you take the time out to find and correct these mistakes you are making musically then you will be ensuring the fact that those mistakes will not continue and become sort of habit forming. If you find and correct these mistakes early on enough then it will not be something so difficult to change. The longer it takes you to find these mistakes the harder it will be to untrain yourself into playing the way you have been playing for so long.</p>
<p>These corrections are necessary if you are wanting to make improvements within your music styles and techniques, to be a better, more professional sounding guitarist. Some guitarists have trouble figuring out what they are doing wrong but if you take the time out to truly listen to yourself you will begin learning what changes will need to be made in order for you to make the necessary improvements.<br />

Some things that you should try listening for when you are playing the guitar are, does the sound that your playing sound really all that good to you or not. If you are not completely happy with the sounds that you are hearing then chances are, someone else will notice this mistake you are making. This has to be corrected in order for you to move forward, into learning more about the improvements that you really need to consider making, for your guitar playing hobby or career. In order for you to strengthen all areas of your guitar playing it will be necessary for you to be willing to change your techniques, be more flexible and offer a variety of techniques when you play your guitar. After you have located what the mistakes are that you are making when you play your guitar, then you will have the ability to focus and concentrate more on what corrections will now need to be made, making you a better, stronger guitarist.</p>

Look for a mat that is large enough for you when you are sitting. The mat should be dense, but not to the point where you sink in or wobble while doing your poses. Mats that are lined with non-slide material are your safest bet, as they will protect you even when you are doing more complicated poses. <p><span id="more-323"></span>This is better known as power yoga, but you will find that if you do some specialized form of Hatha yoga you will be able to use the third and forth limbs when it comes to poses and breathing exercises. You will find that it will provide an intense workout.<br />
Six series of poses within Ashtanga yoga allow for steps of progression in skill, strength, and flexibility. After learning the order of poses from an instructor (the first series includes 75 poses and can take two hours to complete), students often practice Ashtanga independently. This will allow you to progress at your own pace, but also master each series one at a time. </p>
<p>With 75 poses in the first series alone, Ashtanga yoga can be difficult to learn, especially with the Sanskrit names.</p>
<p>There are many famous athletes will prefer Astango yoga since it is a full body workout. With meditation downplayed and the poses emphasized, &#8220;power yoga&#8221; focuses on building flexibility, stamina, and strength, tied into breathing control, with breathing synchronized with the poses. With each breath you will do one pose. The focal point of the eyes is also controlled, to create a unified control of the looking point, the breathing, and the bodily position.<br />

&#8220;Intense&#8221; describes Ashtanga yoga as a whole. Ashtanga yoga stresses breathing and poses to produce some heat from the inside so that you can detoxify the body. This is a great way for you to bond with your children as well. You will find that it is it just as fun and beneficial for children too. Your child may not be able to do all of the poses; however, you will be able to get the children away from the TV and active.</p>
<p><span id="more-322"></span>Your child may not have what it takes to pay attention through a whole session, but you should allow the child to join you and bond and have fun. Children love the different skills they learn, such as balancing, and being upside down is always fun. You may also want to think about allowing the child to put their own spin on yoga. They are young and it is just important that you get them interested in trying new things. </p>
<p>The local yoga class will offer you some tips on how to get your children involved and may also allow you to bring your child with you. In these classes, they will learn much of the same things you learn in a beginner’s class. You may even want to consider brining them to an adult class of yoga if they are of age. It’s a judgment call here, but if your child is yearning to start learning yoga, try your best to include him or her in a class.<br />

Your child will be able to benefit from yoga at home as well. There are books and videos specially made for children and young adults to learn yoga as well as meditation. Always monitor your child to be sure he or she is being safe, and talk to your child’s doctor to be sure the yoga routine is appropriate for your child’s physical well-being. Speak with some of the parents that are in your class and ask them if their child is interested so that you can get a group of children together and show them how to properly get into yoga.</p>
<p>When you do yoga together, you will be able to get to know one another and bond. You will be able to see each other as friends. Yoga is a way for you to add healthy activity to your child’s life. Even if you two don’t stay with the yoga classes or routine at home, you can at least come together and find other ways to include health awareness in your child’s daily life.</p>

<p>With the ancient yoga teachers you might have heard things like wherever the gaze lies, your attention follow. Have you ever heard the expression, “Keep your eye on the ball”? This is the same principle. In yoga as a religious practice, as well as to benefit our health, the ultimate goal is to calm the mind. Yoga will help you to relieve stress and you’re your body and mind focus and see things more clearly. You will find that it will help you on many levels. By fixing your gaze on a single point (a drishti), you can hone the skills you need to bring your mind to a single point as well. You should not feel like your eyes or strained or that it interferes without yoga routine. For those who are religious, they will see the activitiy as a way to work on the mind and the body. You willl find that some types fo yoga have some drishti used poses. You will try things like the downward facing dog and you’ll fix your gaze upon your navel. Your teachers will explain the use of drishti and how to blend it in with your routine. They will tell you some recommend on how you can use your poses to help you improve yourself overall.</p>

<p><span id="more-296"></span>A good body building diet will include a lot of protein.  It is critical for building muscle, losing fat, and contributing to the overall health of our tissues and organs.  You should be consuming 1 gram of protein for each pound of your body weight.  Body builders should increase that amount to a gram and a half per day.  Good sources of protein include meat, fish, and milk.</p>
<p>Carbohydrates should also be a big part of the body building diet.  Carbs are a major source of the fuel our body uses for activity.  You should include complex carbohydrates in your diet through starches and fiber.  That means eating pasta, whole grain rice, and whole grain breads as well as potatoes. </p>
<p>Believe it or not, fats are also an important part of a body building diet.  Our bodies need fats to function correctly and efficiently.  They are an energy source for the body and regulate most of our bodily processes.</p>
<p>The key for including fat in your diet is to consume the good fats as opposed to the bad one.  Good fats are unsaturated ones found in olive oil or flaxseed oil.  Unsaturated fats are ones that are liquid at room temperature.  Saturated fats can clog your arteries and lead to health problems, so they should be avoided as much as possible.  Animal lard and butter are saturated fats and are solid at room temperature.</p>
<p>You should also have adequate fiber in your body building diet.  Fiber helps your body flush out impurities on a regular basis and helps contribute to weight loss.  Some good sources of fiber are whole grain as well as nuts and seeds.<br />

Finally, you will want to include a lot of vegetables in your diet as well as a moderate amount fruit.  Fruit can cause you to retain water and contribute to a larger amount of sugar that you would otherwise need.  However, vegetables contain essential vitamins and nutrients that you body needs to operate efficiently.</p>
<p>A good body building diet is one that is balanced and nutritious.  You should consume the majority of your protein and carbohydrates in the morning and eat five or six small meals daily instead of three large ones.  A good diet is important to effective body building, so know what your body needs and then go for it.

<p><span id="more-294"></span>To begin with, attend a few contests before you enter one.  Watch how the participants put together their program and what the winners do that the others don’t.  See how they carry themselves and what poses they use to accent their muscles.  Take notes and, if you get the chance, ask questions from those in the know.</p>
<p>You’ll need to plan well ahead of time before competing yourself, so start early – as much as six months to a year!  There’s a lot to consider and a lot of work to do before you go on stage.</p>
<p>Take a look at your body and find the muscles that aren’t as toned as you’d like them to be.  A body building contest is all about perfect bodies – or at least as perfect as you can get them.  Just because you’ve lost a bunch of weight doesn’t mean you should be competing.  You need strong muscles with well-defined tone in order to win.</p>
<p>Pick some music that will get the crowd excited.  Your routine will be your calling card and will determine whether or not you have a strong performance.  Your music should contribute to how you pose and what you focus on when in front of the judges.</p>
<p>Your attire is important as well.  The purpose of body building contests is to show off well-toned muscles, so you should show as much skin as possible, but do so in a tasteful way.  Swim suits are the best choice – Speedos for men and bikinis for women.  You’ll want a comfortable fit so that you can move about easily and show all of your hard work.</p>
<p>When you have put together a posing routine, have someone video tape it for you and then watch it with a critical eye.  Have someone else watch it as well and point out the things you are doing right as well as the things you are doing wrong.  You can then work on the areas that need to be strengthened prior to the contest.<br />

You need to pay special attention to your diet and workout routine.  It is very important that you maintain the pace that got you here in the first place.  Before entering body building contests is no time to slack off.  You’ll need to be diligent, but the effort will pay off.</p>

<p><span id="more-292"></span>Keep in mind that body building competitions can be very intense events and the competition can be just as difficult.  You have worked to make sure your muscles are as toned as you think they can get and you have prepared for the contest, but you need to be at the top of your game when you enter the competition.</p>
<p>What’s important in body building competitions?  Actually, there’s a lot involved. </p>
<p>To begin with, be sure you have a nice, deep, dark tan.  That means going to a tanning bed many weeks before the contest.  If you’re not comfortable with a tanning bed, you’ll need a spray-on tan the day before the contest.  Be aware, however, that many spray-on tans could make you have an orange cast.  What you are striving for is a dark look that will make your muscles pop out.</p>
<p>You will need to put some serious thought into the type of music you use for your posing routine.  You will want to have music that gets the crowd excited and pumped up as much as you are.  If you have music that contributes to your poses, you will most likely be a winner.</p>
<p>The biggest image of body builders in the mind of the general public is that of a greased up guy who is flexing freaky looking muscles.  Some body building competitions prohibit the use of oils on the bodies of participants.  Be sure you know the rules before you start competing.  But be aware that oils can make the muscles stand out in a much bigger way.  Follow the rules of the competition that you are in.<br />
<br />
You will need to be sure that you are wearing something that will show off ALL of your muscles.  However, use caution. If you are a man, a skimpy swim suit will do just fine – much like that is made by Speedo.  For women, you will want to wear a bikini in a body building competition, but be sure it’s tasteful.  It’s not “Girls Gone Wild”, so make sure you promote your professionalism.</p>
<p>Body building competitions are great places to showcase a body that you’ve worked hard to make beautiful.  Don’t have unrealistic expectations, but get in it to win it!  You deserve it!
